Anthropic makes Claude Code Review generally available

Anthropic moved Code Review, its automated GitHub pull-request reviewer for Claude Code, out of research preview for Claude Team and Enterprise organizations, saying most reviews now finish in 6-10 minutes.

What happened

  • On October 15, 2026, Anthropic said Code Review is out of research preview and available to Claude Team and Enterprise organizations.
  • Anthropic says most reviews now finish about 3x faster than in the preview, roughly 6-10 minutes instead of about 20.
  • Admins can set each repository to Quick, Standard (the default) or Deep review; reviews then run automatically on new pull requests after the GitHub App is installed.
  • Per Anthropic's docs, findings arrive as inline comments ranked by severity, a review never approves or blocks a pull request, and usage is billed separately through usage credits.
  • Eligible Enterprise organizations can claim at least $10,000 in Code Review credits by January 15, 2027; credits expire 30 days after claiming.
Why it matters: Teams using coding agents are producing more pull requests than people can review. This gives Team and Enterprise customers an automated first pass on every PR, while leaving the merge decision with people.
